In 1965 Richard L Rea (Dick) bought the business from the Burman Brothers. Dick was a carpenter and joiner by trade but decided to move into the funeral business, doing carpentry work and funerals. Dick worked with the help of colleagues and friends until 1988, when his son Andrew left British Waterways and started up the memorial side of the business which then enabled the business to offer a full and complete service for our customers. Andrew’s wife Louise joined the company in 1993 and they both now manage the business together and aim to provide a full professional service to Bromsgrove and the neighbouring community.
